The regulation has recovered billions of shillings paid not at home as loans to students sponsored alongside the state.

The ministry, through the education ministry, had contracted exclusive companies - Mbinga Auction Mart, Makala Auction Mart and Dodoma Auction Mart - as debt collectors to better the affluent from the beneficiaries.
