Hi folks, I am not sure if I'm in the perfect forum thread however I am searching for a number of recommendations in order to assist me to deal with a difficulty with
some surround sound speakers? I am employing a 5.8 GHz wireless speaker set to run my rear loudspeakers. The transmitter is connected to my AV receiver. The challenge occurs when the AV receiver is in standby. It'll transmit a small hum. This tends to prevent the wireless transmitter from commencing standby. Normally the transmitter would enter standby if there is no music delivered to the transmitter inputs. For that reason my rear loudspeakers will continue sending out this kind of humming noise while I am not viewing television. I'm not really technically informed and therefore would hope that somebody using this forum has a few ideas. My personal ideas have been to power down the transmitter somehow while the AV receiver is off, maybe use a switch for both or possibly have something cut the music connection to the transmitter when the surround receiver is shut off.
